When and where we meet

We meet multiple times throughout the week. The meeting is one hour long and is held in English. 

Our meetings are open which means that all who have an interest in sex and love addiction and our program of recovery are welcome. If you are not comfortable sharing, you are welcome to just listen.

We use Zoom and we encourage you to use your video, however we understand sometimes that is not possible. Follow your inner guidance.

Please note that these meetings are based in US time. Due to differences between U.S. and European daylight savings time, from the first to last Sunday in March each year the CET listed on the website will be inaccurate. We have a WhatsApp group that is open to anyone who identifies as a sex and love addict and has a desire to stop acting out.

The last Sunday and Wednesday and first Monday of each month each group holds a group conscience (business meeting) following the regular meeting.

The third Sunday of every month at 1pm eastern, following the close of the Sunday meeting, we host the PPG SLAA Intergroup Group Conscience on the same Zoom link. The purpose of this meeting is to coordinate and attend to the common business of all the different PPG SLAA meetings in this Intergroup.

In this meeting we study the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous to better understand the instructions it contains and how this relates to our sex and love addiction. We use it because we believe it to contain the original 12-step instructions and we have found recovery from sex and love addiction by following the precise and clear cut directions it contains.

During the study portion of the meeting we stick to finding the instructions in the text being read. If you have worked all the 12 steps for sex and love addiction with a sponsor using only the Big Book of AA you are welcome to share your insights and knowledge.

If you have not yet worked all the steps we recommend that you listen. During the study portion of the meeting we don't share about our day or on any other outside issues. Tradition 10: S.L.A.A. has no opinion on outside issues; hence the S.L.A.A. name ought never be drawn into public controversy. 

Our Seventh Tradition states that “every group ought to be fully self-supporting, declining outside contributions”. We use the contributions we receive to pay for our internet domain, website, digital meetings via Zoom and other expenses for the group.
